“KE Next Top Entertainer (KENTE)”, adalah merupakan salah satu daripada acara anjuran KaDuS Entertainment, dan merupakan acara yang paling berprestij untuk KE. Kejayaan musim pertama KENTE telah mendorong KE untuk meneruskan musim kedua, di samping permintaan daripada peminat dan juga bekas peserta KENTE. Pertandingan ini secara tidak langsung telah berjaya menaikkan nama ramai bakat-bakat baharu yang sebelum ini kurang dikenali. Selain daripada tiga pemenang tempat teratas, KE & KENTE berbangga dengan kejayaan yang dikecapi oleh Senisah Majilin (MyStarz Lg3), Georgia Joy C. Binsol (Johan Sugandoi Kaamatan 2009), Marlemny Fay (Johan I Got Talent) dan ramai lagi yang telah menerbitkan album solo, mahupun single.
As a KE FOUNDER, I have never looked back when I first started this idea and concept in 2005. I always believe that KE could contribute in term of promoting the local entertainment industry to another level in Sabah. Prior this, people laughed at me when I mentioned that KE would like to organize or plan to do something that seemed to be IMPOSSIBLE. I know it was really embarassing and down-hearting when they laughed me out of court. Yeah, it sounded really absurd but this is no laughing matter. These coterie of people have encouraged me to move forward! I should say that I’m so grateful to have them around so I can prove them that they are wrong.
For this time around KENTE will be chaired by my co-founder, Mr. George Duat or famously known as gogds. I will only act as KENTE advisor/patron. To be frank enough, we have our own bull’s-eye to hit and I strongly believe that gogds has what it takes to take KENTE up to the next level.
To all the contestants, I may only say this one simple words – This is your chance to prove to all what you have – Yes! You’re x-factor! Your talent! We are looking for your sense of being an entertainer. Not as someone who can merely sing but a person – Your own self – who can entertain the crowds! If you are thinking that KENTE is as similiar as the other reality shows or singing contests such as AF, OIAM, MYSTARZ LG, etc. Then, you are giving us the wrong perception about what KE and KENTE is all about. KENTE has its own class and unique features. We strive to offer you a platform to excel to much higher level. KENTE is designed for Sabahans only and we believe that is the only competitive advantage that KENTE poised.
I would like to quote on of my favourite sayings by Benjamin Franklin – “There are no gains without pains.” So, never ever give up hope if you fail on your first hurdles. Never ever mention that there is nothing left for you. I always refer Senisah Majilin as one of the best KENTE product. Although eliminated in the first heat, she never give up hope and she moves on. At last, she has won 3rd placing in the Sugandoi Kaamatan 2009 and also managed to get thru as Top 10 MyStarz LG finalists. This is the proof that failure is merely not the end of the road as there will be more opportunities for you after this… If only you believe whole-heartedly!
